JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, IT Systems Administration (SA) is a member of the Information Technology (IT) team and will be based in Schusterman’s Tulsa OK, Washington DC, New York NY, or Atlanta GA office. The SA will primarily support the organization's technology needs. The SA will work in concert with their IT teammates across Schusterman offices in the U.S. and Israel to take a holistic approach to the common technology needs of our teams’ needs. The SA will also support other teams within Schusterman as needed. This is a hands-on position which reports to the Manager, IT Systems Administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Systems Administration (50%)

Outcome: Manages and develops multiple technology projects including but not limited to Freshservice, Citrix, Microsoft 365, and other systems within the organization, with minimal oversight. Included in this role:

  • Configures the system to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Continue to enhance functionality of system to achieve operational excellence.
  • Responsible for upgrade of on-premise systems, as needed.
  • Clearly communicates progress, risks, issues, and delivery to relevant stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for any associated standard operating procedures and maintenance needs.
  • Assists with the development of training for staff/end-users as related to projects/applications, as needed.
  • Develops project plan and detailed timeline independently or in collaboration with the Schusterman Project Management Office and/or contracted vendor resources.
  • Performs and/or participates in discovery sessions to elicit and document requirements as needed in collaboration with the Schusterman Project Management Office and/or contracted vendor resources.

Business Systems Support (40%)

Outcome: Takes a time sensitive and service-oriented approach to resolving problems.

  • Contributes to support request management, responds to staff, resolves issues, and regularly manages assigned incoming support requests.
  • Trains staff members in systems and technology as needed.
  • Provides escalation support for systems such as Microsoft 365.
  • Provides primary support for Freshservice, Citrix.
  • Provides backup support for Jamf, KACE.
  • Provides backup support for first-level support.

IT Strategic Planning (10%)

Outcome: Contributes to strategic initiatives as a subject matter and systems expert.

  • Is proactive in identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement in the technology space.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications are representative of the elevated level of demonstrated skills, maturity, judgement, and ability to work with a wide range of constituencies required of Schusterman employees:

  • 6+ years of relevant systems administration and business systems support experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
  • Demonstrable experience using and managing information systems as an administrator.
  • 2 years of Microsoft Windows Server experience is required, as is a strong understanding of Windows Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Citrix experience preferred.
  • Recent hands-on experience using a relational database including a high-proficiency with writing SQL queries and handling results in various formats.
  • Demonstrable expertise with advanced/administrative features of Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with Windows PowerShell.
  • Citrix experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of systems-thinking and capable of developing, documenting, and implementing repeatable processes. Strong ability and willingness to quickly gain expertise in new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to develop cooperative working relationships with supervisory personnel, co-workers, and Schusterman staff.
  • A high degree of flexibility to achieve organizational objectives and meet its demands/needs required, including the ability to participate in local and remote meetings and phone calls across multiple time zones.
  • Possesses sound judgement, knowing when to escalate an issue and understanding who needs to be involved in a decision.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary band of $100,000 - $125,000 based on experience and Schusterman’s commitment to internal equity. A strong benefits package is also included. Schusterman encourages ongoing professional development and supports activities aligned with one’s individual career growth plan. Schusterman does not cover relocation expenses for this position.
