.Net Developer-CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Summary of Position: QSI is seeking an experienced .Net (C#) Developer to support variety of front-end/backend (full stack) software development activities ranging from desktop and mobile applications, backend services, and internet-of-things (IoT) capable systems deployed to the Cloud. This position is expected to work on-site.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
  
• Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science with sufficient software fundamentals and programming coursework.
• 8-10 years of development experience using C# .NET.
• Solid understanding and experience programming with the C# language.
• Familiarity and sound understanding of software architecture concepts, OOP fundaments, principles, and design idioms.
• Knowledge and experience using JavaScript and CSS.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e. g. Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Familiarity with service-oriented models, particularly RESTful architectures, and related web API design concepts.
• Knowledge of the networking protocols, and distributed systems concepts.
• Knowledge and awareness of cyber security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux shells and Windows command line interface (CLI).
• Experience using Visual Studio IDE and/or VSCode.
• Diligent and focused, excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Work well alone, and within a team environment. A willingness to stay technologically current, and to grow and learn new skills is a must.

Highly desired skills:

• Experience developing C# ASP.net (razor pages and/or MVC),
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and SQL
• Familiarity with Blazor (web assembly) web application design and awareness for progressive web app (PWA) concepts is a bonus skill to have.
• Understanding of the Azure and/or AWS Cloud services/deployment models: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.
• Awareness/knowledge of IoT-enabled Cloud services and protocols.
• Awareness of Cloud-native and microservice architecture concepts.
• Awareness/knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals.
