The Role:

The Cloud Engineer role is focused on designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based systems and applications. In this role, you will ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure and define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience working with the AWS ecosystem: Simple Queue Service (SQS), Simple Notification Data Streams, EventBridge, CloudFormation, and Lambda/GraphQL
  
• Experience with the following languages/frameworks: Typescript, Go, Javascript, React, Electron, Node.js
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Experience with performance and scalability in cloud-based environments
• Experience with message passing / RabbitMQ / CloudAMQP / Kafka
  
• Experience in design patterns like BFF (Backends for Frontends)

GitKraken is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and while we would like to have candidates be local to the Scottsdale office, we understand that talent and drive are much more important than location. We will consider strong candidates from anywhere in the US who apply for this role.
