GLS is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Sr. BI Developer to deliver data-driven insights and provide mentorship for a growing team! This key role as a Sr. BI Developer will use Power BI, SSRS, Snowflake and Azure SQL Databases to create interactive dashboards and reports to ensure effective, organizational decision making.

What you will do as a Sr. BI Developer:

• Collaborate on a regular basis with team members and actively participate in architectural decisions for the business intelligence platform
• Identify the need for tools to solve business problems and create a proof-of-concept to assist in organizational decision making on tool selection
• Design, build, enhance, and maintain both historical and real-time interactive dashboards and reports that are to be used by analysts, applications, and external business partners
• Efficiently use SQL and other tools to create scalable, reliable and performance reports/dashboards
• Automate ad-hoc reports, optimize user queries, and facilitates data research and understanding
• Implement data security measures to protect PII and other sensitive information in reports
• Build data applications using Power Apps or other tools

What you need to have to be successful as a Sr. BI Developer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technology field
• Minimum of three 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence role that includes building graphs and charts to communicate useful insights in the data
• Must be proficient in SQL including joins, inserts, updates, deletes, conditional logic, subqueries, temp tables, and complex data transformation functions
• Knowledge of relational database management and data warehousing
• Experience reviewing datasets for data quality
• Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or any enterprise level reporting platform
