The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an Information Technology Director (CHHS & URBN) to work with the Office of OneIT. The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools (mission) of your unit or department and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Computer science, or a related field. Three-Five year’s experience working within Information Technology, preferably in an academic setting. Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proven record of managing budgets, directing and motivating staff to deliver client-oriented services

Essential Job Duties: The Information Technology Director (ITD) provides leadership in the application and use of computing technology in support of the mission of both the UrbanCore unit (URBN) and the College of Health Human Services (CHHS).
The Information Technology Director (ITD) guides the development, operation, and vision for the computing resources that support the college’s research, teaching, and service objectives. The ITD provides assistance and support to department and college computing initiatives and serves as a source of technical expertise for matters related to computing in the URBN and CHHS.
