About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior or Principal Product Manager who can lead product management of our learning platform. In this role, you will actively define and deliver features, processes, and products that help us innovate literacy solutions for learners from underserved demographics. You will be responsible for on-time delivery and release that is in-line with the organization’s short- and long-term product goals. You will be the driver for our learning platform, which will require you to understand and collaborate with other aspects of our ecosystem such as our handwriting and reading instruction. You will help identify user pain points and value-creation opportunities and be the executional driver amongst a cross-functional team of design, engineering, research, and content.
👉 You’ll focus on the Learning Platform: the centerpiece of foundational reading assessment and instruction equipped with integrated data systems to gain reader insights
Your work will be pivotal to shaping how Reading Reimagined achieves and scales learner impact through contextually relevant instruction that is loved by Learners, Parents, and Educators.
This Job is For You If You Have:
- 4-7 years product management experience
- Organized, detail-oriented team leadership with strong project management skills
- Structured, collaborative, and clear written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in design and hypothesis-driven product development
- A track record of a strong bias for action, generating results as a PM in high performing environments, balanced with a strategy-level perspective
- A desire to make the world a better place through technology and reading education
- Ability to apply user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions
- An instinct for creating simple and intuitive user experiences
- A track record as a voracious, curious, and active learner
- A knack for self-starting, rolling up your sleeves to do the work, being resourceful and innovative in finding answers in an ambiguous situation.
Our Ideal Candidate has Experience in:
- Prior product, operation, or engineering experience in K-12 Education Technology or similar
- Technical product management experience
- Experience leading teams through ambiguity, and high stakes trade off decisions
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate on strategy for our K-2 learning platform
- Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
- Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals (buy, build, partner solutions) for new capabilities with data and users at the forefront
- Anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs and balance the program needs, for instance user needs, against versus technical or operational constraints
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure an excellent user experience in our product
- Work with engineers to help guide feature development
- Maintain product backlog
- Perform quantitative analysis on features’ performance and find opportunities for optimization
- Be responsible for hitting the key performance indicators such as student engagement, ease of adoption, user onboarding, and student learning outcomes.
What You’ll Receive:
- Salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per annum
