A Quality Assurance Engineer for SaaS software

We are looking for an outstanding Quality Assurance Engineer who understands how to incorporate Quality into all phases of development to work with our engineering team working in a fast paced environment.

Trakref® is a cloud-based, SSAE-compliant, mobile-enabled digital tool designed to manage clients work process around their cooled assets. Designed with compliance and responsible refrigerant management in mind, Trakref® provides users with total control and access to their refrigerants, regardless of location or application, while keeping up with maintenance schedules and leak rate monitoring. Our essential goal with the Trakref® platform is to help commercial HVAC/R system owners, service technicians to increase their success with a singular software tool that optimizes communication, bench marking, asset management and regulatory compliance.

We are looking to develop and expand the technology into more specialized uses for our currant clients. API integration, an enhanced User Experience and Structured Data are part of the opportunity in the industry and our development team is growing as a result.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to ensure Quality is factored into in all phases of development.
• Creation of test plans and execution of test cases during development sprints.
• Work closely with Software Engineering to identify root cause of software defects and identification of appropriate solutions.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on additional work outside core area of responsibility
• Clear documentation of bugs and results
• Functional and regression testing
• Test websites, mobile applications ,Microsoft reports and other applications as necessary

Qualifications/Experience:

• 2 plus years experience in Quality Assurance Engineering.
• Regression testing, C#, Script writing ,Azure, Power BI is a plus.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (smoke testing, functional testing, regression testing)

  - Knowledge of testing techniques ( boundary values, equivalence partitions, etc.)

  - Solid understanding of product testing in an agile environment working in sprints

  - Knowledge of processes involved with opening tickets, testing, and reporting bugs

  - Strong Attention to detail

  - Excellent communication skills
  

  - Able to prioritize

  - Passion for testing

  - Experience using Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables)

  - Experience testing Microsoft BI Reports is plus

  - Knowledge of ticketing systems is a plus

  - Knowledge of SQL is a plus

  - Knowledge of automation (Selenium, C#, Eggplant is a plus)
