Chief, Information Technology

LACERA is the largest county retirement system in the US with approximately 188,000 members and $71 billion in assets under management. The Chief, Information Technology is responsible for managing, planning, design, coordinating, developing, and maintaining LACERA’s IT business solutions; infrastructure and architecture; and system applications. The ideal candidate has strong people and project management skills and understands the full breadth of IT operations, including: hardware and software development, web-based application development, database administration, help desk support, cloud-based computing, and disaster recovery. They are strategic, proactive, and results-oriented with a penchant for completing projects on time and within budget. Requires 7 years of senior level IT management experience managing the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of large and complex information technology systems in a diverse multi-service public or private sector organization. This experience must have included the management of both technical IT functions and administrative functions such as budgeting, finance, and personnel.

Salary: $156,819 - $237,358.32, DOQ, plus excellent benefits.
