ABOUT THE ROLE

Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a motivated Salesforce Administrator to support our team. We are a fast-growing entrepreneurial team working at the convergence of technology and national security. The work will be dynamic and wide-ranging across our Growth, Operations, and Product teams supporting the deployment and scale of our Game Warden platform. As the company’s sole Salesforce Administrator, your responsibilities are to manage the ongoing development and deployment of business processes that maximize transparency of customer relations and success, primarily through Second Front’s Salesforce instance.

You will help in building the bridge between business requirements and technology (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, Fundraising, and Customer Success). Working cross functionally, your focus is to leverage your abilities as a Salesforce expert to automate complex business processes, create reports and dashboards, configure Salesforce systems and integrations, and train users on Salesforce and connected applications in and out of the Second Front’s instance. You will help enable everyone to stay aligned and efficient in their and our customers’ successes

Note: This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Specific responsibilities include:

• Primary manager, developer, and administrator of Second Front’s Salesforce instance and its integrations (configuration and maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks)

• Thoroughly analyze and support the business and finance processes across the entire organization, with an eye toward balancing efficiency and user-friendliness with accuracy and superior data hygiene

• Sandbox environment management

• Proactive system maintenance such as complete regular internal system audits, security reviews, preparation for upgrades

• Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests

• Align with management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities

• Lead, or co-head, training of new users and grow the Salesforce skill-set across the organization

• Develop related Technical Documentation, including gathering and assessing business, functional and technical requirements

• Continue to maintain deep Salesforce market and technical knowledge (tools, capabilities, updates)

• Good oral and written communication, and presentation skills across all levels of the organization

• Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards while also taking the initiative

• Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes

• Experience managing and maintaining business analytics, projects, and end user enablement for a company’s unique Salesforce needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com Administrator

• Salesforce.com Admin Certification required (ADM 201 and ADM 211), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot and Marketing Cloud certifications required

• Experience working across the Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, CPQ, Billing, Communities, Analytics, Heroku) and the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate to advanced complexity

• Proven experience to design and implement new processes and projects that facilitate user adoption

• Experience and extreme comfort working in a highly ambiguous environment and high pressure, time-sensitive, a rapidly evolving industry

• Experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a compliance-heavy, highly regulated industry strongly preferred (health care, banking/brokerage, government contracting, insurance, etc.)

• Experience with recurring revenue business models (e.g., SaaS subscriptions) strongly preferred

• Salesforce Platform, G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Power-Point, and Excel proficiency

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• A strong interest in matters of national security and industry/Government partnership is a bonus
