WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for passionate and smart Go engineers, who love to tackle problems at scale. An engineer who is a strong team player and possesses hands-on product engineering with the ability to design and build a product from an idea.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Code, test and document solutions for creating Carted’s commerce API.
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and debug technical problems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure business goals are achieved.
• Translate software and other designs into functional technical specifications.
• Research and define new areas of technology to continuously improve our product line.
• Build out new features and products.

YOU HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN

• Microservices (REST and GRPC) - Golang
• OLAP db like BigQuery, RedShift, Snowflake and etc.
• OLTP db like BigTable, Cassandra, etc.
• ElasticSearch
• Data processing: JAVA / Apache Beam (Google Dataflow)
• ETL pipelines at scale
• Message Queues, like Redis PubSub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
• Stress testing and debugging at scale
• Kubernetes, Traefik, Istio Terraform (ops skills)
• CI / CD - workflows
