Carted will power commerce experiences anywhere on the internet, allowing developers and content creators to build a direct checkout of any product from any merchant via any content on the web and making commerce seamless by connecting them to millions of merchants and billions of products with a single API.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for passionate and smart Go engineers, who love to tackle problems at scale. An engineer who is a strong team player and possesses hands-on product engineering with the ability to design and build a product from an idea.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Code, test and document solutions for creating Carted’s commerce API.
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical problems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure business goals are achieved.
- Translate software and other designs into functional technical specifications.
- Research and define new areas of technology to continuously improve our product line.
- Build out new features and products.
YOU HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE IN
- Microservices (REST and GRPC) - Golang
- OLAP db like BigQuery, RedShift, Snowflake and etc.
- OLTP db like BigTable, Cassandra, etc.
- ElasticSearch
- Data processing: JAVA / Apache Beam (Google Dataflow)
- ETL pipelines at scale
- Message Queues, like Redis PubSub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
- Stress testing and debugging at scale
- Kubernetes, Traefik, Istio Terraform (ops skills)
- CI / CD - workflows
