General Purpose of Job:

This is an in-person, field service installation role responsible for the successful installation and end-to-end management of assigned projects, focused on delivering on company standards, every time, based on Techmenity’s company principles document.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide attentive and proactive installation, support, feedback, and accountability to projects assigned by the IT & MSP Manager.
  • Lead by example, holding yourself to higher standards of others, while supporting company initiatives.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and creative work environment where employees are trusted to communicate openly, perform at their highest level, make valuable contributions to the team, and meet rigorous expectations.
  • Lead and execute assigned IT projects from conception to completion. Including but not limited to:
    • Installation, implementation, maintenance, and quality control of assigned installation projects.
    • Participate in project meetings which include internal resources and client/client contacts as needed.
    • Provide project updates and progress reports on a regular basis.
    • Facilitate/monitor procurement of necessary job materials, including equipment distribution and delivery.
    • Create and maintain all project-related documentation in accordance with Techmenity company guidelines.
    • Verify work performed meets company standards/principles, including proper testing, and client tutorials.
  • Create and maintain meticulous project-related documentation, including client systems and job details

Preferred Technical Skill Level

  • 5+ years experience with network terminations, punch downs, and cable toning and testing
  • 5+ years’ experience in providing escalated support related requests
  • 3+ Azure Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory Domain Services
  • 3+ Google Admin Platform
  • 3+ years using an Identity and Access Management (IAM) such as Okta, Ping, OneLogin.
  • 3+ years working with Box, SharePoint, Dropbox or another Document Management System
  • 2+ Years experience with Routers, Switches and Access Points
  • 1+ years analyzing and managing Endpoint Detection and Response
  • 1+ year experience with VoIP and hardware. (Yealink,Poly, etc…)
  • 1+ years device Management with Microsoft InTune/EndPoint Manager
  • 1+ years exposure to Virtual Environments (Virtualbox, VMware)
  • 1+ managing company SSL Certificates, domain names and DNS records.
  • 1+ configuring and maintaining VPN’s (site to site, client)
  • 1+ managing Lastpass or other password managers
  • 5+ years experience repairing/troubleshooting/diagnosing equipment such as: printers, phones, computers, networking equipment, security cameras, and other common home and office equipment.
