The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority seeks an IT Technician to provide technology expertise and outstanding customer service that supports individual users and multiple enterprise systems; drives the deployment of new technology solutions; and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners and consultants to ensure the Authority is maximizing the use of technology to implement its mission.
Our mission is to conserve the natural environment, support agriculture, and connect people to nature by protecting open spaces, natural areas, and working farms and ranches for future generations. To date we have protected over 28,000 acres of natural and agricultural lands across the Santa Clara Valley. Our agency manages and conserves a network of open space lands and natural resources, while providing compatible opportunities for hiking, biking, and equestrian uses, with a focus on increasing equity of access to the outdoors for all our constituents.
We know our continued success depends on our employees and the work they do. We are committed to providing a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and development; and acknowledges individual and team achievements.

You bring a breadth of existing knowledge and experience in desktop support, network maintenance, and enterprise systems and are excited to continue expanding your knowledge through this role.
You enjoy working independently and can conduct effective and methodical research to inform appropriate recommendations for improvement and solutions. You exercise sound judgement in response to shifting priorities and are able to balance ongoing and routine tasks and projects with support needs from colleagues.
