Job Overview:

In this brand new exciting role, reporting to the Vice President, E-Commerce, Resident Home is on the lookout for a talented Senior UX Product Designer to join our growing Product team. In this role, you’ll translate our brand into user-friendly experiences with a sole focus on the Resident website and mobile site, as we aim to evolve and innovate and to provide the ultimate customer experience . We’ll count on you to continually think of smarter, cleaner, and quicker solutions to help customers interact with our products and brand, while growing the business and driving engagement for our websites. What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with a close-knit team of Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and provide data driven, client-focused solutions. Enhance opportunities through UX (strategy, flows, wireframes, customer experience mapping) and UI visuals (component designs, page elements and interactions).
  • Participate in team meetings and provide informed ideas/feedback/designs/concepts via pixel perfect delivery of dev-ready designs and flows with required level of detail and documentation.
  • Balance user-, design-, and business-oriented goals while continually striving to improve the overall customer experience
  • Collaborate with front end engineering on Design Systems that balance speed and creativity
  • Observe usability and A\B tests to help guide your designs and reach the best possible solutions
  • Assess the quality of builds until they are in tip-top shape and ready for millions of people to use
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive approach to decision making, where good ideas can come from anywhere and those outside of the design team feel invested in the work we do.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant design and product experience in fast-growing technology companies
  • Obsession with A/B tests & CRO experiments. “Obsession with delivering improvements in core ecommerce metrics through rigorous a/b testing
  • Led by data - passionate in design & aesthetic opinions but ultimately led by the data
  • Passionate about ecommerce design & UX & keen to test new & innovative concepts to drive performanceAble to empathize with a wide range of customer needs to create engaging user experiences
  • A creative problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Passionate, energetic and with a proven track record of scalable experiences
  • Strong communicator who can articulate the needs of your audience in a clear, compelling way
  • Resourceful and flexible team player with exceptional collaboration skills
  • Sure-footed and able to work in a fast-paced, highly productive environment and under tight deadlines
  • Experience working for a sophisticated ecommerce company (e-commerce/online travel/finance) preferred - fast growth, results driven, data driven company
