Full-Stack Magento Developer

OVERVIEW

We currently run a multi-website Magento installation hosted in AWS. We are looking to hire a junior developer to assist with plugin management, import and export tasks and customization of the existing Magento stack. Your work will provide support to a growing development team.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience working with Magento and PHP.
• Experience with Frontend Development, CSS, LESS, HTML, JS.
• Familiarity with git and proper VCS best practices.
• Familiarity with databases, data structures, and date integrity.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to interact with non-technical co-workers.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Netsuite and Celigo experience
• Experience in building custom Magento Themes and Plugins
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD using Code Pipeline and Elastic Beanstalk
• Mysql / MariaDB experience

RESPONSIBILITIES/DAY TO DAY

• Assisting the development team with all aspects of a production Magento install.
• Examine error logs and resolve bugs.
• Respond to other areas of the business with scripting and support to facilitate a large ecommerce installation.
• Assist in platform upgrades and testing.
• Monitor the current end user experience and work on minor bug fixes.
