The Web Analyst (Performance Marketing & Optimization Analyst) will collaborate across the Digital Center of Excellence and agency to gather campaign data to develop the overarching narrative of campaign performance. We are looking for someone passionate about data, who enjoys synthesizing data from multiple sources, innovating approaches to data storytelling and visualization, and a desire to contribute to agency success.

Duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Be a thought-partner across the agency to help find opportunities based on trends in the data, evaluate business questions across core industries as they arise, help agency and clients understand and evaluate target audiences, and provide insights to help drive the business outcomes of customer journey activity
  • Contribute to the development of social listening dashboards and analysis projects that support current strategies and initiatives
  • Provide strategic data-driven analysis, insight, and recommendations on how to prioritize testing efforts
  • Test and validate web analytics data
  • Conduct A/B tests to optimize content and user experience
  • Conducts content audits and gap analyses to identify data-driven content creation opportunities
  • Manage multiple information requests across teams and clients and provide regular proactive updates to leads on projects and responsibilities
  • Perform statistical significance testing to determine lift, duration, and confidence levels and analyze test results
  • Meet deadlines and ensure integrity and accuracy in all work

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience working at an agency or research company in a research, analyst or insights capacity
  • Experience in data mining, quantitative analytics and experience in interpreting and presenting derived insights
  • Experience with social listening leveraging boolean search techniques and analytics tools plus familiarity with media aggregators (Nexis, Factiva, Netbase, Brandwatch)
  • Demonstrated experience designing reports in business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Domo, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience with statistical analysis, data visualization and/or distilling large amounts of information into usable insights
  • Hands-on experience with digital analytics, testing and data management platforms (Google Analytics, NinjaCat, SAS, Salesforce)
  • Strong storytelling skills, especially as it relates to presenting information and research in a concise and helpful manner
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail in a deadline sensitive environment
  • Ability to listen and ask the right questions to adapt to client needs
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity and a passion for finding meaning behind data
