We’re searching for a skilled and experienced Mobile Tech Lead to join our team.
As the team lead in the Mobile & IoT team you will be responsible for technical direction, craft, and delivery of mobile apps and IoT solutions. You will be guiding the technical team in the craft of mobile app development, including all aspects of software development, best practices, Agile development and application architecture.
You will be working closely with your colleagues in a cross functional team made up of delivery manager, developers, designers, testers and team lead to create technical solutions and deliver those using Agile and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
When working on a project you will be collaborating with clients to define solutions, discover required features and create epics and user stories. You will be managing the Agile board to ensure that the development team is able to work effectively. Team members will be able to get your advice and direction in terms of approach and solving software and dev ops problems.
Although, you won’t be responsible for the financial aspects of a project you will be across the allocation, progress and completion of development work and work with the delivery manager and team lead making sure project risks are raised early.
As team lead you will also be involved in developing the skills and careers of your team members depending on the latest technology trends and needs in projects.
What we’d love to see from you:
- Skilled Agile / Scrum master
- Excellent technical skills in DevOps and Source Code Management; App architecture; and user story cards authoring
- Demonstrated ability and commitment in keeping up to date with tech/research and applying best practices to work
- Demonstrated team management experience including allocation of work; assigning team members to projects; and, providing feedback and mentoring team members, while directing broader technology capability in Mobile and IoT
- Demonstrated experience undertaking code reviews
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience working with clients to create development plans and to shape APIs
