About us

We are a modern, real estate marketplace for home buyers and sellers to transact entirely online, pioneering an all inclusive real estate transaction to democratize a broken and cumbersome process, helping home owners save billions. Backed by top investors we are projected to be a forerunner in real estate technology with an industry amassing billions of dollars in untapped revenue.

Senior Full Stack Engineer
Why Listella?

We are looking for a highly motivated full stack software engineer specializing in server-side web development that is also comfortable working with the entire stack (front-end and infrastructure) to take ownership of the development and rollout for an entire product, or large project. You can expect to push your skills and be challenged everyday, while making an impact on the future of how people buy and sell their home.

Our Mission

No agents, no commissions, no negotiations. A better way to buy and sell real estate! Listella was founded under the belief that the power of the real estate transaction process should be in the buyer and seller's hands, saving billions in commissions every year. Changing the world one home at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Our engineering team uses GO and we’re built on ReactJS, SQL/noSQL, and GCP.
  • Day-to-day you’d be working on helping to build out our real estate engine building out API’s; working with a small but diverse team of 8-10 engineers.
  • Helping to build powerful in-house tools like a document signing replacement, real estate services, a public api (plus the documentation that deploys with it), and more…
  • Design and create software architecture based on business requirements, strategy and priorities.
  • Develop & maintain core product services, libraries and frameworks.
  • You will get to work directly with our founders and other heads of departments from Stripe, Square, Map Box, Google API’s, Mortgage, Title, Closing, and Insurance API’s, and others… which will only increase your business acumen and provide lots of opportunities to get closer to our product vision and strengthen our teams cross-department collaboration.
  • We work on 2-week cycles. Every sprint starts with a sprint planning session (time estimates, prioritization, etc) and ends with a sprint retro (were our estimates accurate, what can we do better, etc).
  • We conduct backlog grooming in the middle of every sprint to update tickets and estimates based on new information or shifting of priorities.
  • We conduct a quick “mini-standup” in person almost every day to allow the team to express what they’re working on and any blockers they’re facing.
  • We primarily use Github to conduct code reviews. We hide features behind feature flags, empowering us to push code every day!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Minimum 6+ years of working experience building full stack applications.
  • Expert with front end development using ReactJS, HTML(5), CSS, SCSS.
