Job Description

The Cloud Engineer will provide technical expertise in the IAAS/PAAS/SAAS Public Cloud domain while working directly with Medtelligent's engineering group. In this role, the Engineer will maintain a high level of technical aptitude in cloud and hybrid cloud solutions while also displaying a proven ability to communicate effectively and offer excellent customer service.

The Cloud Engineer under moderate supervision is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting the recommended infrastructure. This involves analyzing, configuring, testing and implementing the infrastructure. This also involves monitoring and controlling the performance and status of the infrastructure. This role will also support and maintain the infrastructure. This may include evaluating and making recommendations in enhancements to the existing infrastructure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Providing cost estimates for new projects
• Capacity planning to administer, implement, and troubleshoot Cloud solutions and tools
• Collaborate and provide insight to teams tasked with building solutions on cloud platforms
• Establish, implement, and audit back-up/recovery procedures
• Ensure overall system up-time, reliability, and security.
• Manage VM and/or container based application deployments using CI/CD pipelines and automation tools and scripts
• Manage high availability initiatives

Qualifications:

• Identify scale issues
• At least 1+ years of Azure Cloud experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with business, applications, and infrastructure teams to design and implement IAAS, PAAS, SAAS cloud and hybrid cloud solutions
• Skilled with key networking elements (Disaster recovery/business continuity practices, email systems, firewalls, hypervisors, proxy servers, problem resolution tools, and VPN’s)
• Knowledgeable of network infrastructure and diagnosing networking issues
• Prior experience supporting Microsoft server operating systems in a corporate environment on or off premise required.
• Prior Knowledge of Azure Active Directory

Additional Information

Added Bonus:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator(or similar) certification
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL
• Software development experience specifically on the .NET framework(s)
