Be an integral part of Leatherman’s IT Applications team. This role calls for a skilled software developer responsible for the entire application lifecycle of Leatherman’s mission-critical systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales, Service and Marketing, and the Power Platform. This includes gathering requirements, writing technical design specifications, troubleshooting full stack architectures, and implementing enhancements and bug fixes. The Dynamics 365 Software Developer will take pride in delivering solutions using best practices that are scalable, sustainable, reliable and performant. Requires a highly motivated developer with a desire to learn more about a variety of technologies. Teamwork and collaboration are key to success in this position.
Essential Functions
- Adherence to Company policies is essential for all employees.
- Develop customizations and enhancements as well as provide technical support for Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) and Sales, Service and Marketing (CRM).
- Develop integrations and solutions across F&O, CRM, Power Platform, and other 3rd party applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical errors, data, and performance issues.
- Develop solutions that adhere to industry best practices and company standards.
- Champion high-quality testing, documentation, and code management practices.
- Collaborate and share knowledge with other Applications team members as well as cross-functionally.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies and partners.
- Be willing to continually learn and incorporate new tools and techniques.
Experience and Education Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years developing for AX/D365 F&O. Strong knowledge of X++ and Visual Studio.
- Development experience with D365 CRM and the Power Platform is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with ERP software and business processes in Finance, Manufacturing and Warehousing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database structures.
