Technical Delivery Manager

Welcome to your new role!

We are looking for a smart and organised Technical Delivery Manager to join our team at GO Digital. Someone who loves to get into creative problem solving and always has a backup plan hidden away!

You will love working on client projects, taking responsibility for end-to-end project management, quality assurance and delivery. Your team (and you) are mostly 100% remote (although you are always welcome in any of our creative workspaces in Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne) so you’ll have some skill in working with or managing a remote team.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Client Service team in gathering requirements to develop a solution that fits with our value proposition.
• Identify business requirements and provide technical solution recommendations.
• Define and manage scope of projects from inception to release.
• Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
• Ensure design and development teams are delivering to design, development, and methodology standards.
• Take responsibility for managing revenue and profitability for key projects and client accounts.
• Identify potential sales opportunities for the sales team.
• Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective.
  
  

What we’d love to see from you:

• Extensive background in development and delivering complex software projects.
• Good technical experience in customer centric web solutions that use Drupal, Laravel, WordPress and / or headless CMS solutions.
• Strong understanding of PHP desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing, leading and mentoring remote first development team.
• Demonstrated experience in project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control.
• Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and professional communicator.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
