Job Description

WynHouse Software is looking for a motivated frontend developer to join our growing agency. Ideally, candidates for this job are in the Detroit MI, Toledo OH, or Cleveland OH areas.

You will be responsible for frontend development work across multiple projects. Our ideal candidate is able to translate client needs and application designs into functional and appealing mobile and web applications. The candidate hired for this position will be expected to create front-end software to the specification of the project management team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product design team and clients to develop web and mobile applications
  • Leverage the key principles of web and mobile application design to build responsive and user-friendly software
  • Interface frontend applications with backend resources
  • Integrate 3rd party APIs and libraries
  • Identify, define, and resolve software bugs
  • Participate in development team code review
  • Observe and define development team processes and standards
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, requirements meetings, and project planning sessions
  • Communicate effectively with remote teams
  • Staying up to date of developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements

  • 3+ years frontend or full stack development experience
  • Extended experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Strong understanding of React.js
  • Advanced analytical problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable with autonomy and decision-making authority

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field of study
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Jest
  • Next.js experience
  • Experience with React Native
