LYVE Mobile is a natural extension of Seagate’s leadership in mass data solutions, combining our mass capacity innovations with deep storage industry knowledge to help customers activate more of their valuable data.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Strategy and Design, the LYVE Mobile Lead Information Security Architect will be a key member of the product and services team. Information Security is extremely important to us and protecting our customer’s data is critical. We are looking for someone that is passioned about securing products and systems, likes to break things to make them better. It’s not about pen testing only, it’s also about telling us how to do it right. We are a new team with a new line of products and need your help securing them.

About the role - you will:

In this role, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and verifying the security functionality of LYVE Mobile, its products, and services. This is a Seagate Sr. Staff Engineer position.

  • Create security functionality roadmaps to explain security needs and priories to Management.
  • Help design and build a Security dashboard, and then use that dashboard to monitor security compliance.
  • Provide input on how to improve security for existing and future products and (web-based) services
  • Inform Management about trade-offs about certain security functionality vs the risks.
  • Coordinate information risk management processes
  • Self setup a SOC
  • Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, lead exercises, and coordinate responsible disclosures.
  • Help coordinate business continuity planning for LYVE Mobile services across multiple geographies
  • Break stuff to help our developers and partners to remediate vulnerabilities in applications and cloud infrastructure
  • Check and enforce compliance with applicable regulatory and industry security standards

Your experience includes:

  • A track record of one or more jobs within in information security, preferably within a Cloud SaaS business
  • One or more security certifications (such as CISSP or Security+) is nice, almost preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities combined with ability to explain complex information security concepts and to influence stakeholders
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills that can quickly bring together Product Management, Engineering and Operations to execute against security goals
  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, high growth environment

Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
