Under the direction of the VP, Software Engineering, the Full Stack Software Development Engineer will provide thought leadership and excellence in development, to ensure accuracy and stability in the software engineering process at CarepathRx. By driving a culture of urgency and accountability this role will be critical to support the growth of the business and to ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall design and architecture of responsive web applications.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Experience working with UI/UX designers and converting designs to visual elements.
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in RDBMS design.
  • Experience operating in a CI/CD development environment.
  • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies.
  • Accurately estimates tasks and assignments.
  • Manages multiple concurrent activities and resources according to priorities.
  • Leads and manages problem resolution discussions.
  • Provides feedback to peers and management on identified areas of improvement.
  • Assists in troubleshooting and identifying issues in production.

Skills & Abilities

  • 5 or more years of experience in software engineering
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages specifically Java Spring or C# with a focus on REST-based API development.
  • Demonstrated experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks specifically REACT or Angular.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing cloud-centric architectures with AWS or other popular cloud providers.
  • Knowledge of architecture principles leveraged for a multi-tenant Saas platform.
  • Strong experience in the development of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong experience in test-driven development enabling test automation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for driving strategic initiatives through large and diverse organizations. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work within multiple work streams at one time.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or related subject matter
