Know the basics of programming? Need experience? Fast track your entry into the software development industry with Catalyte's software developer apprenticeship program.
How does the program work?
Your software developer apprenticeship begins with a 12-week pre-apprenticeship. Under tutelage of experienced software developers, you will work on a team to hone both technical and interpersonal skills critical for real-world success. Upon successful completion of the pre-apprenticeship phase, you'll begin a two-year apprenticeship with Catalyte, building software for one of our many clients. You'll receive mentorship, coaching and ongoing support throughout your Catalyte career.
Who can apply?
Anyone who meets these criteria:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Language: English (Required)
- Computer proficiency and high-speed/broadband internet access
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. for 30 continuous months. Catalyte does not offer visa assistance or sponsorship of any kind.
Eligibility
- To qualify for the 12 week expedited pre-apprenticeship, you must have basic proficiency with HTML/CSS, a programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#, and experience with source control such as Git.
Pay and benefits
There is a stipend paid during the 12-week pre-apprenticeship period. Upon successful completion of this period, pay will become competitive, and you will receive additional benefits including paid holidays and time-off, health, vision and dental benefits and personal development stipend. Two years after starting the apprenticeship, our employees and alumni are typically making $65,000-$90,000 per year.
