Sr. Solution Architect – MSO Business Services

CAS Group is currently seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join our team. This position is an excellent role for an experienced solution architect with a deep understanding of enterprise / carrier-grade commercial telecom products & services.

Sr. Solution Architect Responsibilities:

• Lead the effort to design effective solutions for new product features & platform capabilities in support of Tier 1 MSO Business Services
• Understand business & technical strategic objectives & environment; aligns solutions accordingly
• Understand modern architectural design principles & patterns; incorporate into solutions ensuring integrity & minimizing deviation from strategic architecture vision
• Ensure vendor compliance to strategic Enterprise & Solution Architecture
• Be actively involved in all phases of the delivery lifecycle from intake through implementation, ensure solution is complete and consistent with the architecture blueprint
• Actively drives development of solution architecture including – business requirements analysis, technical specification and project solution documentation following established methodologies and templates
• Collaborate with all stakeholders – delivery teams, business leads, product managers, and vendor partners – in gathering & analyzing requirements; develop comprehensive, cost-effective solutions that meets functional and non-functional needs & expectations
• Facilitate and lead requirements analysis and solution design working sessions
• Assess solution options, impacted technology & business components and integration needs
• Drive the collection of LOEs at various levels of precision across disparate development teams
• Effectively document, represent & communicate solution options to stakeholders
• Effectively present solutions; justify & defend recommendations to stakeholders at all levels including executive management
• Form and develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders

Sr. Solution Architect Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a solution architect – preferably in a large telecom setting
• Deep understanding of enterprise / carrier-grade commercial telecom products & services
• Understanding/familiarity with integration & microservice architectures
• Experience working with telecom B/OSS platforms preferred
• Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Ability to work within a timebox to deliver concurrent solutions
• Ability to quickly learn existing architecture & technology in complex environments without training
• Command of common tools used by Solution Architects – Visio, PowerPoint, DrawIO, Atlassian suite, Rally, etc.
