Responsibilities:

  • Creation & delivery of level 0/1 solution architecture for managed enterprise services and connectivity products and features
  • Work with various SME & development teams to formulate, document, present & justify effective solutions balancing scope, schedule, cost & complexity
  • Understand and represent both business & technical client strategies in solutions
  • Consult with business sponsors on requirements & system capabilities to ensure quality inputs
  • Effectively summarize & convey how solutions satisfy requirements & meet business needs
  • Succinctly present architectural solutions to technical community; ability to fully explain & justify all design decisions
  • Drive the collection of LOEs across various, disparate development teams at various levels of precision throughout the process
  • Ability to drive to timelines & deliver quality materials on time
  • Effectively interact & communicate with busy delivery teams to mine needed information
  • Drive technical planning and design decisions for Managed Enterprise Solutions (MES) platform and related applications
  • Oversee the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale
  • Effectively translate business requirements into effective end-to-end technical solutions leveraging platform solution components
  • Collaborate with business, functional, operational & technical teams to determine how best to implement solutions
  • Provide day to day technical SME support & consulting as required
  • Collaborate with internal IT and 3rd party resources for projects, enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Tech Stack:

  • Methodologies: Software Development Life Cycle (prescriptive to Agile/Scrum)
  • Technical Skills: Integration architectures – Webservices, Microservices, REST, JSON
  • OSS/BSS Application: Advance understanding of B/OSS capabilities & architectures. Component level experience with applications such as – Salesforce, Siebel CRM, Century Customer Manager, Century Service Orchestrator, Century Product Catalog, AMDOCS Billing and Ordering, Metasolv Order management and provisioning, Kenan Arbor, CDG CABS (Wholesale Billing) CSG, ICOMS (NetCracker), Amdocs Resource Manager, Helix, Neustar Number inventory, order management and Clearinghouse Gateway, Connected2Fiber (TCW)
  • Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Visio, Project, SharePoint
  • Requirements management: Rally and Jira
  • Quality Assurance Tools: Mercury Quality Centre, JIRA

Desired Experience

  • Enterprise, solution, or technical architect
  • B/OSS architectures at tier 1 MSO/MNO
  • Amdocs, Siebel, or Metasolv big plus
  • Agent facing CRM
  • Understanding of enterprise cable products, services & architectures - high speed data, video, VoIP, Managed Connectivity
  • Solid understanding of cable order processing
  • SDLC and agile/ safe concepts
