*This position may report to one of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's offices: Turnpike Industrial Park Building (Middletown), Eastern Regional Office (King of Prussia) or Western Regional Office (New Stanton).

Job Purpose and Summary

This is technical development work, primarily responsible for developing solutions to support customer service issues, new enhancements, new applications, and the integration of systems. The incumbent is expected to perform all duties related to the application development life cycle including, but not limited to, determining requirements, coding/building, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Work is generally performed in a distributed environment within established practices, procedures, and policies. Work is reviewed by a professional superior or designee for quality and conformance with established goals, standards, operating procedures, best practice, overall performance, and quality/effectiveness of services provided.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Performs various integration and enterprise development duties and responsibilities, which include working on support teams to support enterprise systems and their integration.

Designs, develops, analyzes, integrates, and deploys enterprise applications, configurations, and solutions. Develops detailed specifications that describe system changes.

Integrates programs and objects for enterprise applications and solutions. Participates in and/or executes process designs and technical configurations.

Provides technical assistance and resolves defects in development objects. Analyzes and assesses current processes to define and document improvements.

Works closely with customers, peers, and process owners to ensure that development objects meet business requirements.

Participates in the technical preparation of business process procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals. Participates and documents tests that are necessary to ensure the application or technical environment meet performance requirements.

Monitors and repairs development and technical objects to maintain performance according to technical and functional specifications. Provides user support and assists in the identification of configuration and program changes.

Responds to service requests and issues that require trouble shooting, coding, configuration, data and/or security maintenance.

Performs system documentation and administrative tasks as needed.

Utilizes various software and/or technology tools to perform job duties.

Uses situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or closely related field. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Five (5) years of experience developing enterprise custom objects in at least one of the areas/environments listed below, or any combination thereof:
o Informatica Cloud (IICS)
o SAP Environment (i.e., ABAP, SAP/PI, SAP workflow, forms development, etc.)
o ServiceNow
o Microsoft Dynamics
o .net Development
o Integration Development

Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Position demands include frequent speaking, writing and reading reports. Position requires frequent work at a computer utilizing business programs and PTC specific operating systems. Position may require occasional travel and/or fieldwork with exposure to roadway traffic. Occasionally works outside of normal business hours for assigned work assignments.

Office environment with low levels of noise, adequate lighting and comfortable temperature. Field environment may include exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable conditions. Physical environment is generally safe, but safety equipment or precautions must be followed in field conditions.
