Our technology is built and developed for the mission of connecting as many teams and individuals as possible to real news sources, in a fast and efficient way. This ensures that teams don't miss news about recent competitor product launches, or exclusive coverage of a key trend that will affect their business model.

To date, NICKL has more than 200 publishers on board and is expanding its subscriptions bundles. We serve companies as small as 20 employees and companies as large as 50,000 employees. The vision we believe in is a society in which real, accurate information is easy to obtain.

About the Role

NICKLpass is looking for a mission-driven experienced marketing professional with a deep understanding of the nuances of the customer journey and how to engage and retain customers at every step. The ideal candidate is a strong writer who is skilled at communicating a company’s product value to different audiences and leading targeted marketing campaigns. The ability to empathize will allow you to easily put yourself in the shoes of our customers and prospects to help us develop the right language and systems for designing an effective customer journey. The ideal candidate will enjoy analyzing and using data about our customers to drive demand for NICKLpass throughout new and existing markets.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with our sales team to utilize various strategies that include but are not limited to SEM and email marketing. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and our roadmap and use those insights to design lead nurturing strategies and a cohesive content marketing strategy that will increase brand awareness.
  • Lead all aspects of marketing including brand awareness, content marketing, product marketing, and partner / channel marketing.
  • Skillfully employ best practice marketing tactics across multiple channels to fill the funnel and drive prospects through the entire buyer’s journey from awareness to close.
  • Identify target companies and buyers.
  • Set current and long-term marketing goals.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for NICKL’s Senior team.
  • Work closely with the NICKL team to issue preliminary product copy, mockup requests, and approve design direction.
  • Integrate a scientific approach in the experimentation of campaigns and tactics, measurement of results, and tracking of KPIs including pipeline growth, number of qualified opportunities, inbound leads, and conversion rates at every stage of the funnel.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in marketing or related discipline; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of marketing experience
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Experience working with companies in a marketing function to help generate between $1M - $20M in revenue annually
  • 5+ years of marketing leadership experience
  • B2B and B2C experience
