You will also be expected to:

• Spend 80-90% of your time writing code and designing solutions
• Work with team leads to support the company's mission through architectural and technical improvement
• Participate in code reviews
• Write reusable code, initiate refactoring
• Apply coding patterns and best practices
• Understand performance/scale tradeoffs
• Work with product owners to deliver new features to production
• Along with your team, take ownership of the applications you work on
• Work within an Agile team to complete code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming

About You

• 3+ years experience with Java and Spring in developing complex web applications that scale securely and responsively
• Experience with authorization protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML or OpenID Connect is a plus
• Proficient using RESTful APIs
• Strong foundation in web applications and services with modern software architecture
• Designing and optimizing database schemas and queries
• REST API development and RESTful web development
• Setting up and managing CI builds on Jenkins with Kubernetes/Docker
• Experience in Identity and access management is a plus
• A good understanding of SCIM is a plus
• Experience with AWS serverless lambda based development is a plus
