Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview:

The full-stack Software Engineer position will work with the data scientists and other teams to creative innovate software solutions to business problems. They will architect, design and implement software in the cloud (AWS) using an “infrastructure-as-code” approach. In addition to practice continuous integration in an agile environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Combination of DevOps and Full-Stack Software Engineer
• Contribute to Credibly’s major technology revitalization program
• Full stack devops engineer working with modern technologies including experience with front end frameworks
• Implement new business services and functions to contribute directly to the success of the business
• Implement systems using a cloud first approach and software defined infrastructure
• Architect, design and implement technology infrastructure in the cloud (AWS)
• Practice continuous integration in an agile environment

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 3+ Years of software engineering experience

• Must have hands on experience working in a cloud-based software defined infrastructure
• Understanding of cloud technologies with an emphasis on applications that are highly available, cost efficient, fault tolerant, and scalable
• Coding experience with Python or another scripting language (JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, etc)
• Experience in a Linux environment
• Monitoring and logging experience, preferably using AWS Cloudwatch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automation experience (Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Java and JavaScript
• Automated testing experience
• Experience with data protection
• Experience supporting databases including, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
• Familiarity with SAS server
• Familiarity with SalesForce.com
