Senior Community Manager

Bugcrowd is on the hunt for a Senior Manager of Community to lead our Growth team. This manager will lead a team that is focused on improving all aspects of the researcher experience on the Bugcrowd platform, overseeing researcher marketing, managing researcher focused incentives and gamification programs, and building strong relationships with the Crowd and Bugcrowd’s brand presence in the community. Additionally, this person will work cross-functionally to ensure the researcher's experience and needs are addressed throughout the Bugcrowd organization.

The ideal candidate for this role :

• 5+ years management experience
• Team player with a proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, and at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and a track record of data-driven decision making
• Experience building and driving projects and programs through cross-functional partnerships, balancing competing priorities, and laying out tradeoffs to drive decision making
• Active in the hacker community
• Professional experience in the infosec industry
• An understanding of common security vulnerabilities; the OWASP top ten and beyond

Primary Role Responsibilities:

• Own and develop strategic programs to enable researchers to earn more on the Bugcrowd platform and champion the researcher perspective and needs at all levels of the organization
• Communicate a compelling vision to inspire your team and get cross-functional buy-in on researcher initiatives, projects, and programs
• Enable the team and cross-team collaboration and partnerships with Researchers
• Oversee researcher marketing and researcher focused product rollouts

• Build strategic programs to expand Bugcrowd’s brand presence in the community and researcher acquisition
• Manage researcher feedback and sentiment surveys
• Oversee researcher events - LevelUp, Bug Bashes, Defcon, etc.
