Consolidated, a cooperative in Central Ohio dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and communities, is seeking a Broadband Support Associate. You’ll support broadband activities for maintaining all core network functions and supported systems and serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email. This includes providing software and network support and troubleshooting in a networked environment to carry out fiber electronics provisioning and network operations of fiber services. You'll also foster internal and external relationships to promote the image and competitive position of the cooperative through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style and an attitude of humble service to the cooperative's members, trustees, and employees. Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience required or a technical degree with a telecommunications networking focus and one year of work experience. A mixture of undergraduate education and work experience or demonstrated proficiency is acceptable.
  • Advanced internet skills and knowledge regarding e-mail, web hosting, broadband, and wireless connectivity required along with advanced knowledge of a variety of broadband platforms including fiber-to-the-premise.
  • Capable of making full use of available tools, equipment, and technologies.
  • Effective communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Accuracy, self-motivation, and emotional intelligence are required.
  • Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Attention to Detail / Configuration Management / Communications Security Management / Computer Network Defense / Configuration Management / Information Systems - Network Security / Network Management / Problem Analysis & Planning / Service Delivery / Technical Competence, Credibility, Problem Solving, Awareness, & Management).
