Unix/C Software Testing Engineer

QuSecure, Inc. (https://www.qusecure.com/) is an exciting Silicon Valley company building post-quantum cybersecurity products to protect against today’s hackers while future proofing companies as quantum computers become more powerful. We are looking for a full-time or contract Unix/C Testing Engineer with 5 or more years of experience who can help test elements of our products. The ideal candidate has experience in debugging and core-dump testing in UNIX and C. Testing Assembly code is a bonus and if you have additional experience in cybersecurity even better.

Our Quantum Security Management Suite (QSMS) is an advanced, quantum resilient and integrated set of enterprise security products and services designed to provide the highest level of security against all cyber-attacks, whether classical or quantum.

The candidate will need experience in the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years of debugging and core-dump testing in UNIX and C
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using test suites such as Google Test Suite, and GLib, and C language test frameworks
  • Analyze the needs of the user and determine testing of individual elements within the system function
  • Design, test and develop the software test to meet those needs
  • Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs as needed for test systems
  • Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole to test all paths of functionality
  • Create various diagrams, flowcharts and models that illustrate the type of code needed for testing the functionality
  • Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
  • Revisit the development test process to fix bugs or address other issues
