GeoVisual Analytics is changing the way crops are cared for in the US and around the world. Using routine monitoring of fields with drones, in-field scouting, and satellites, we’re applying our NASA-funded ML algorithms to analyze crop maturity, health, and predicted yields, helping farmers to dramatically reduce production uncertainties and increase profits. We’re headquartered conveniently between Boulder and Denver with a beautiful view of the Front Range right outside our window. As a core member of our development team, you’ll be leveraging drone-gathered data to empower farmers through web and mobile interfaces. The customers depend on this data day to day, so attention to detail is paramount. You are a skilled developer who takes pride in your work and it shows in the quality of your code. You have experience with web apps, continuous integration in the cloud and maybe some exposure to mobile development. Spend your days:

• Getting involved in the design, development, and delivery of some pretty amazing technology solutions
• Estimating level of effort and balancing this with the business value for each feature or enhancement
• Automating mundane and repeatable tasks to increase our efficiency
• Working with senior members of the development and leadership team to look for and analyze opportunities to grow our platform

What you’ll bring to the table:

• BS in Computer Science or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience with ASP .NET, C#, SQL Server and MVC architecture
• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing highly dynamic software applications – extra points if you’ve worked in GIS, Azure, Python, MapBox, or Iconic
• Comfortable working with JavaScript on the front end – we use Vue.JS
• Experience contributing to all facets of software delivery, including technical design, development, code reviews, unit, and integration testing
• A sharp mind with a knack for picking up new concepts quickly and filling in the blanks when given an abstract objective
• You have worked in an emerging, growing company so you know what it means to shift priorities and wear many hats
• Goal oriented and driven to meet deadlines
