As a Sr C# / .Net Back-End Engineer at Stonehenge, we expect you to operate with speed and to have some specific skills/experiences, such as

SKILLSET:

• Highly proficient in C# with experience in web service implementation (RESTful APIs) and background executing applications
• Well versed in object-oriented design coupled with a working knowledge of dependency injection and singleton implementation
• Experienced with database interaction within C# (via direct query or an ORM such as Entity Framework)
• Skilled in asynchronous programming (including APIs and console applications)
• Familiarity with Cloud-based infrastructure (Microsoft Azure preferred)
• Practical full-stack web experience including layout and styling (Angular and Javacript/Typescript a plus)
• Penchant for security, testability, reusability, and scale
• Strong ability to troubleshoot/debug based off limited provided direction/information with a lean towards research and exhausting existing documentation

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with all parts of the organization to effectively design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain Web APIs and background processes to solve unique challenges faced by our members as well as to improve the overall software offering.
• Operate within the full scope of the software development lifecycle to ensure the quality and robustness of the solution as well as to realize business value as quickly as possible.
• Refactor, upgrade, and remediate existing Web APIs and background processes to ensure they remain sufficiently performant and up to date.
• Work with the engineering team on the management of cloud components and databases, as needed.
