OPPORTUNITY
The Information Technology Procurement Coordinator role is to provide a single point of contact for the organization’s technology procurement process. This includes receiving purchasing requisitions, obtaining and evaluating quotations, reconciling purchase orders with deliveries, and ordering and asset management of computer equipment and mobile devices. The I.T. Procurement Coordinator will serve as a liaison and interface between internal users and external vendors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
> Manage and develop the technology procurement process, including processing and tracking of requisitions from all departments and school sites
> Manage and maintain contracts and renewals for the organization
> Manage the E-rate process and applications to secure funding for telecommunication services and network equipment
> Support efforts to establish cost-effective, long-term solutions with key suppliers to optimize the acquisition cost of technology
> Make recommendations to OFMs, DSOs, Desktop Administrators, IT Managers, and school administrators to align on technology procurement needs
> Manage vendor relationships regarding procurement of computer hardware, software, warranties, and licenses for the organization
> Create and maintain Information Technology catalog with updates to pricing, models, and additional items and manage every aspect of technology procurement and supply chain
> Manage Verizon account, including updating employees, cost centers, voice and data plans, and procurement of mobile devices and Mifi hotspots
> Manage T-Mobile account as well as the procurement of Mifi hotspots for students
> Mange inventory and asset management for all home office technology including laptops, desktops, monitors, and printers
> Manage Ricoh account, including copier acquisition and inventory management
> Additional procurement responsibilities as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
As an ideal candidate, you will have the following:
> A minimum of three years of working experience in a procurement role
> College diploma or university degree in the field of business or information technology preferable
> Knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures for product selection and record keeping and the ability to develop and codify processes
> Knowledge of Workday and other procurement software
> Ability to take purchase requests from various departments and get price quotes from suppliers
> Persistence, excellent follow-through skills, and able to contact suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
> Highly detail oriented and result driven
> Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
> Demonstrates high levels of time management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up/follow-through skills
> Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and ability to clearly present information to individuals and groups
> Knowledge of techniques of specification writing and technical documentation
> Considerable knowledge of client-side computer hardware including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, tablets, mobile devices, and their technical specifications
> Possess strong computer literacy skills, including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
> Able to work in a fast-paced environment and apply effective change management strategies to navigate the culture effectively
> Dependable, have a sense of humor and a rock-solid commitment to Green Dot’s mission and the communities we serve
> Pass a TB test and background check at time of offer

COMPENSATION
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 and considers the individual’s relevant experience and skill set.
