Senior Java Software Engineer

Banyan Infrastructure is growing rapidly and building the future of project finance for renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. To keep pace with our evolving platform, we are looking for a Java Spring Developer to join our team who is excited to take on the complex engineering challenges in the fast-growing business of climate and finance.

Banyan is looking for a senior engineer with experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating software solutions at scale and will help Banyan deliver the best experience for next-generation servicing and investing in sustainable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have:

• More than 5 years development experience with at least 4 years using Java Spring
• Prior developer experience with relational databases and REST API
• Passion for writing quality code utilizing unit tests and coding best practices
• Problem solving skills and the ability to decompose complex problems into solvable chunks
• Desire to learn and improve your craft
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in small, energetic, collaborative teams

In this position, you will be a senior member of our development team, designing, implementing, and operating our financial services platform. We’ll support you through learning opportunities on new technologies, mentorship from our senior developers and management team, and close interaction with the rest of the company (executive team, product, and customer success).
