Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspects various aspects of water and sewer pipeline construction. Verifies that construction is in accordance with contract documents. Keeps Daily logs and prepares report on finding at the construction site.

Required standard tasks in the position:

  1. 1. Pull 68,000 feet of innerduct throughout duct banks both new and aged.
  2. 2. Pull 6 miles of fiber optic cable throughout the site.
  3. 3. Modify Facility Access Maintenance and Management System cabinets for installation according to RFI's.
  4. 4. Install local communications cables from internal equipment to Facility Access Maintenance and Management System and Servers.
  5. 5. Install Facility Access Maintenance and Management System components throughout the site.
  6. 6. Install Hub Servers in three locations.
  7. 7. Install HMI computer equipment in Hubs and office locations.
  8. 8. Install key card components on multiple facilities.
  9. 9. Install cameras, video control centers and connected CAT 6 cables on multiple facilities.
  10. 10. Connect fiber to Facility Access Maintenance and Management System station components
  11. 11.Quality control testing of fiber dB resistance for all runs
  12. 12.Test key card connectivity.
  13. 13. Install Power Maintenance and Management System power monitoring equipment.
  14. 14.Test connectivity of Power Maintenance and Management System within the Facility Access Maintenance and Management System server reliability.
  15. 15.Test camera operability and data recording equipment.
  16. 16.Install secure, card controlled, entry locks
  17. 17.Test key card to entry lock operations throughout the site.
  18. 18. Install software updates into servers for FAMMS.
  19. 19. Install software and updates for PMMS systems (power monitoring).
  20. 20. Insure installed all exterior lighting components are illuminating.

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems. Basic analytical skills. Ability to use a computer to prepare daily logs and reports. Attention to detail. Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25lbs as needed. These inspectors will also be required to evaluate NEMA, NETA and NFPA tests. Then advise the JV Team on progress percentage completion, daily progress reports (CM-14), and journals with photographs of the observations.
