Cox Communications is now hiring for an Infrastructure Operations Lead – Deployment Specialist for their Cox2M business line. About the job:

Be a leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced, venture where you will manage infrastructure operations for the verticals within Cox2M. Cox2M delivers end to end ground breaking solutions to a diverse set of customers in target verticals such as automotive, smart communities and agriculture. The Operations team ensures deployment readiness of both technology and process for all Cox2M solutions, coordinating customer, internal Cox2M and partner teams. Your role will manage deployment/implementation and ensure customer success for the targeted verticals to ensure the Automotive team can continue to move fast, wow customers, and deliver groundbreaking solutions that solve real challenges.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Responsible for baseline deployment plans and checklists to enhance level of detail and improve processes for Cox2M solutions and customers with a focus on Automotive vertical.
• Ensure solutions and supporting processes are executed on time and on budget to any site where Cox2M solutions are deployed by working closely with all relevant parties to ensure on time on budget delivery.

• Be the face of Cox2M to the customer in collecting required information and setting customer expectations for a repeatable, scalable, and efficient 30-45 day deployment cycle.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement of all operations processes for deployed Cox2M products.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, interpreting data from various sources to generate meaningful insights and drive fact-based decision making.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 

• 2 or more years of experience in operations managing deployments or customer facing projects with demonstrated ability to deliver successful deployments at scale for consumer/SMB segments.
• 1+ year experience with business process, project management, or process improvement workstreams.
• Ability to multitask and pivot quickly between workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.
• “Roll up the sleeves” state of mind willing to get hands dirty in hands on operations as the Cox2M business scales and grow aggressively requiring all hands-on deck.

Preferred

• BS/BA degree in related discipline desired (industrial engineering, operations, business administration)

• Experience with automotive or fleet operations
• Prior start-up experience preferred
• Prior Internet of Things project delivery experience
• Hands-on experience implementing process-changing technologies
