Back-End Developer

Light Line Delivery is a Boston based startup with a mission for privacy and convenience in luxury apartment living. We use autonomous robots that navigate high-rise apartment buildings to make deliveries. We are early stage and disruptive!

We are seeking a Back-end Engineer with Front-end knowledge to develop, deploy, and maintain our back-end infrastructure that is exposed via mobile applications. Must be a team player, excited about robot-as-a-service concept, and interested in applications of Autonomous/AI mobility.

Responsibilities:

-Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of our APIs, databases, and mobile applications.

-Collaborate with autonomous robot engineers to ensure effective communication between the back end and the robot.

Ideal Candidate:

Required Skills:

Back-end Node JS / Java experience with general knowledge of JavaScript

Experience working with PostgreSQL or any other relational database

Proficient experience creating RESTful API designs and implementations

Ability to work in a remote environment with little supervision

Knowledge of ROS

Will pay with equity or cash on hourly basis.
