Location: LaGrange, OH - No rush-hour traffic from any location!

  • 20-35 Minutes from Cleveland, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Elyria, Avon, Medina, and Brunswick
  • 35-45 Minutes from Lakewood, Beachwood, Sandusky, Brecksville, and Strongsville
  • Full stack .NET application development
  • Support IT leadership in creating and maintaining team culture and reliability
  • Maintain high standards of product quality within the team by creating and maintaining good practices and habits
  • Delegate, supervise, and guarantee the timely delivery of personal and team tasks
  • Provide team-level administrative oversight for enhancing, maintaining, and troubleshooting existing applications, services, and integrations
  • Effectively deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings with team members and provide critical feedback as necessary to the employee, or to the CIO and/or HR
  • Ensure work is understood by the development team, and remove roadblocks preventing timely completion of work
  • Aggregate and communicate project progress, resource availability, and team needs and roadblocks to the CIO and CEO
  • Support management in monitoring day to day operations and integrations, and work with development resources to quickly address errors in critical business systems
  • Conduct hiring searches for new candidates to join the team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or proven equivalent experience
  • Great communication skills with an ability to manage projects and team members, along with working on your own projects
  • 5-7+ years of experience operating in a technical position on a software development team
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of software developers, or acting in a senior technical position for a software development team
  • 2+ years of experience using ticket or project tracking software such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Gemini
  • Senior level programming experience
  • Strong C# .NET background
  • Experience with custom integrations including SDKs and APIs, XML and JSON serialization, SOAP and REST web services, etc.
  • Experience developing Windows Forms and WPF applications, .NET and .NET Core console applications, and web services
  • Modern JavaScript/HTML/CSS web application development using libraries like Angular, React, Vue, etc. including responsive design/mobile first concepts
  • Strong SQL Server related skills including writing optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, data normalization, and triggers
  • Multi-task in a busy, fast-paced, and sometimes stressful environment

Responsibilities: This is a smaller company; the Developer Team Lead will spend a portion of their time coding as part of the team (around 50% in addition to the following management and leadership responsibilities.

The Developer Team Lead directly manages a team of software developers and is responsible for the coordination of development assets in completing known work, identifying, and repairing bugs, providing technical feedback, and supporting the business. The Developer Team Lead works closely with the CIO to ensure project expectations are known, roadblocks are identified and mitigated, progress and resource availability is tracked, and work is completed in a timely manner.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct a small team of junior/mid-level/senior developers and also both manage and provide project oversight for fellow developers
