Salesforce Administrator & Developer

DSPolitical is hiring for a Salesforce Administrator and Developer to further solidify DSPolitical as the leader in targeted advertising for progressive digital campaigns by growing our presence in the market.

About the Position

The Salesforce Administrator & Developer provides support to the Products & Partnerships team. Manages all aspects of Salesforce and serves as an internal Subject Matter Expert. Understands the needs and processes of other departments, but asks for help and clarification as needed.

Specific duties may include the following:

• Drive and implement DSPolitical’s Salesforce vision, roadmap, and architecture.
• Work closely with stakeholders across all internal departments, such as Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and Engineering, to enable teams to reach company goals, from ideation to execution.
• Customize and configure the Salesforce platform to translate the needs of a variety of stakeholders into actionable solutions.
• Be the subject matter expert and resource for all things Salesforce, including administrative assistance, training, documentation, and system troubleshooting.

Essential Attributes & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customizing, developing, implementing and system management of Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Marketing)
• Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development and configuration.
• Familiarity with writing coding solutions using Salesforce core programming languages including Apex.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across difference departments
• Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in one or both of the following:
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Developer I
  • Salesforce Administrator
• Experience integrating third party applications with Salesforce, including Pardot
• Strong understanding of CRM-related business processes like Campaign Management, Lead Management, Pipeline Management and Account Management
• Familiarity with Source control technologies such as GIT
• Familiarity with project management using agile software development methodologies
• Demonstrated interest in working in progressive politics and/or public affairs
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello
• Due to legal requirements of campaign ads, US work authorization is required.

Office Hours

Work hours are consistently 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary. Due to COVID-19, this position is temporarily remote for the 2021 year.
