Job Description: HindSite Software is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our Team. This is a great opportunity to join an Agile team that is building out a scalable SaaS platform and grow with the organization. Duties within this role will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. This position will also be involved in system testing, validation procedures, and also working with internal teams on software system design and maintenance.

This is a full-time position. We are looking for an experienced developer comfortable and seasoned with regard to being part of a remote team.

Innovation is key and we are seeking people that will help us maintain our status quo as well as our focus on demonstrating our expertise and thought leadership in the green industry. This role reports to the Development Manager.

Product: SaaS solution in the Green Industry.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Work with Development team to architect solutions
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Vet the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Additional tasks as needed

Experience:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Experience and proficiency with Kendo UI Framework for MVC, MVC, and Telerik Components
  • Experience and proficiency with the Microsoft stack: C#, ASP.NET
  • Experience with SQL databases and API endpoints
  • Experience working with UI/UX and design teams to translate design into development deliverables
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
  • Familiarity with: Product Lifecycle / Agile workflow and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with UI/UX tools and processes
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Mobile development experience
  • Responsive Web Application Development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Commensurate w/ experience
