RocketRez is seeking a Director, Software Development to grow their in-house development team, and guide the technical maturity of their SaaS Ticketing and Reservation system.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Director, Software Development will take ownership of the agile-hybrid development process, be skilled at release planning, and have an enthusiasm for automated testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in software leadership, Director equivalent or higher, and +10 years in Software Development
  • Direct experience leading a major technology stack and architecture decisions, including building scalable infrastructure that anticipates future needs. Experience with Microsoft C#, Javascript and MariaDB.
  • Experience leading quality assurance efforts, both manual and automated testing.
  • Demonstrable experience in annual strategy and budget planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to concisely articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
