About the Role

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping enterprise level applications. This individual will work with a team of software engineers to solve complex problems using cloud, mobile and web technologies. The Software Engineer will work in full life cycle software development with direct user exposure and contribute to the Agile software development process.

In this role, you will:

  • Use the latest technologies and cloud API services, craft best in industry software running on mobile, IoT and .NET
  • Interact with end users and product owners to create features and user stories that address concrete business needs
  • Assist in defining the architecture and technical design of internal systems
  • Ship regular releases through a streamlined agile process
  • Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the software development process
  • Perform software systems testing with a focus on procedures and programming
  • Conduct root cause analysis of problems and provides resolution
  • Perform complex quality checks
  • Work with geographically distributed teams in a timely manner to complete assigned projects

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated development experience in PHP and LAMP technology stack
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Excellent grasp of relational database design and querying concepts, including schema design and SQL
  • Experience with version control concepts, particularly Git, including branching and merging
  • Full-stack technology skills and experience – Including .NET, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, React.js, HTML, CSS, IoT, (Ubuntu Linux, C++, JavaScript, Bash scripting)
  • Exposure to design patterns and SOLID design principles
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Solid grasp of unity testing theory and implementation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong soft skills, including interpersonal and problem solving skills
