We are looking for an experienced software engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead the way and help transform the future of infrastructure and smart cities!
This individual contributor role will be a part of Parsons’ Connected Communities Products team, which is a fast-paced group responsible for defining and driving innovative solutions, technologies and partnerships across all key markets/sectors - Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, Smart Vehicles, Aviation, Rail & Transit and Integrated Delivery.
As part of a dynamic capability “Kick-Starter Team”, the candidate will help quickly build prototypes and demos that push the envelope for what is in the art of the possible and provide industry-leading innovation tools and capabilities to our broad set of markets and clients. Being a self-starter who gets things done is the KEY skill we need.
In this role, you will work directly with the VP of Connected Communities Products and a cross-functional group of sector/market, product, technical and marketing professionals and possibly external strategic partners and clients as appropriate. The candidate will also have regular interactions with the Technical Lead/CTO of the Connected Communities division.

Desired Experience, Skills, Education:
- 3-10 years relevant work experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related work experience
- Full-stack web application development experience and familiarity with UI/UX frameworks such and AngularJS, React, or other Web UI frameworks.
- Experience with other modern software concepts such as containerization/microservices, REST Web Service design/implementation, integrated automated testing tools, and other software technologies that support Agile Continue Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software development.
- Full-stack web development experience, including various UI, Middle-Tier, and Data Repository technologies.
- Solid oral/written/presentation communication and basic project/time/budget management skills a plus
