C# Developer

Mayday, a leading Aerospace manufacturing company in Denton Texas, is looking for a software developer to join our IT team. Mayday provides a dynamic environment with cutting edge manufacturing technology and supports the global aerospace market. The position is located onsite to support end users to understand stakeholder requirements, document requirements, develop architecture, develop design, develop test plans, write application, test applications, application launch and follow through. The candidate will take direction from our application lead and will interact with users, management, and other IT staff. Candidate should be a self-motivated, problem solver with precise written communication skills and affable personal skills. Manufacturing or aerospace experience a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior C# programmer to grow with the company.

Primary technologies – required proficiency:

3-5 years .Net (C#/WPF/XAML) desktop development

Microsoft SQL Server

Preferred exposure to/experience with:

MVVM design patterns

WCF services

Infragistics UI controls

Education / Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years of relevant work experience

Working Conditions:

Work performed in an office setting with rare travel.

Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting or standing for extended periods of time at a desk using a computer & phone, & occasionally lifting & carrying items which may weigh up to 25 lbs. & occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Hearing and vision must be corrected within normal range.
