Join the Consolidated family! Consolidated, a cooperative in Central Ohio dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and communities, is seeking an Information Systems Manager. You’ll join a goal-oriented team where you’ll be responsible for managing and supervising the planning, evaluation, development, and implementation of information systems, networks, and departmental personnel. You'll also develop and implement policies and procedures for the prevention, detection, containment, and correction of data security breaches; manage, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software, as well as workflow, projects, priorities, and budget as they pertain to information systems. You'll also foster internal and external relationships to promote the positive image and competitive position of the cooperative through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style and an attitude of humble service to the cooperative’s members, trustees, and employees.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Five years of experience in information systems. Supervisory experience. A combination of degree, information systems experience, and supervisory experience will be considered to meet minimum requirements.
  • Working knowledge of:
    1. Database structure, querying using customer SQL statements, and database management;
    2. Planning, development, modification, and extension of computer programming;
    3. Windows Server and Linux and experience providing oversight of programming and software development methods;
    4. Current programming languages;
    5. Backup planning, execution, and data recovery.
  • Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies.
  • Effective communication, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Accuracy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality are required.
  • Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position.
