Position Summary:

Siren Marine is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee ongoing and planned product development and feature enhancement programs.

This position requires a fair amount of technical expertise as it will involve frequent interaction with team members from various engineering disciplines including firmware, electrical, mechanical and cloud.

This position will require working closely with the engineering team in order to monitor project progress, draw up Gantt charts and dynamically adjust milestones as changes arise or factors crop up which in turn affect project timelines and budgets.

The primary stakeholders within the company relying on the information will be the C-Suite to assist them formulating tactical and strategic business decisions.

Job Requirements:

  • Exemplary people skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Leadership ability in scheduling and moderating meetings, drafting meeting minutes for the program record
  • Participation in routine project meetings and design reviews
  • Prior experience in seeing products through the full product development life cycle, from concept to production
  • Construction of product BOMs
  • Drafting and monitoring beta test programs prior to product launch
  • Planning and managing budgets against projects
  • Familiarity with product development methodologies, preferably Scrum
  • Experience with issue and project tracking software, preferably Jira
  • 4-year college degree with a minimum of 3 years of technical project management experience in electronic product development, preferably in IoT

Additional Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • College degree in a technical discipline
  • Scrum Master certification
  • PMP certification
  • Familiarity with low power and wireless technologies
  • Knowledge of product compliance testing requirements
  • Overseeing prototype builds at contract manufacturers
