Sr. QA Engineer - (Remote)

We are looking for a full-stack Sr. QA Engineer with strong test automation experience in PHP and JavaScript to join our growing company.

About the Team

We’re a team of 25 passionate, talented, and experienced individuals working remotely around the world. Following our Series A round, we’re now hiring for up to 40 new positions over the next few months!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product owners on the planning and design, reviewing product code and formulating test scenarios using modern best practices.
• Automate test scenarios using frameworks such as Cypress and Jest
• Develop custom test automation frameworks.
• Set up and refine the infrastructure to run tests in CI/CD, using appropriate test data.
• Participate in microservice design and development.
• Be passionate about technology, especially open source and cloud-native.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of PHP OOP development experience, designing and building large applications.
• 1+ years of Symfony Framework (Zend/Laminas Framework is a plus).
• E-commerce experience and Payment processor experience strongly desired.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture and APIs
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. PHPUnit, behat, jest, cypress).
• Full-stack and SPA experience (e.g. React, Vue, Angular) is a plus (We use Vue!).
• Experience with Agile teams and DevOps culture is a plus.
• A curiosity and ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly where appropriate.
• Great communication skills, and a desire to collaborate across departments and with customers.
